To finish off my week of Korean cravings, we ended up dining at ChangGo. One of the most popular Korean BBQ restaurants in the city as well as the original go-to restaurant for the 8 flavours of pork belly set, ChangGo never fails to impress.

ChangGo has undergone a large amount of changes since I first dined there years ago. With an entire new section for dining added for lower waiting times and a make over to make the interior look cleaner, it was definitely a improvement from when I first dined there.
Palsaik set $58.80
The palsaik set is the original set from which ChangGo became well known, with 8 different flavours of marinated pork belly, a spicy seafood and soybean paste stew as well as rice, sides and vegetables, it is a very flavourful and filling set.

Spicy cold noodle $14.50
I love it when the korean cold noodles are done well, here they do a very basic cold noodle of buckwheat with a generous heap of spicy red pepper sauce as well as some beef, pickles and half a hard boiled egg, nothing fancy, but still a very solid noodle dish.
Beef set $48.80
The beef set came with three types of meat, one marinated, one that was not marinated and your own choice for a third dish, we ended up choosing the ox tongue to round off the set. Along with the meat, the beef set also includes the same stew and sides as the pork set which left plenty to go around.

Overall for both sets, the quality of the meat remained consistent with flavourful marinades. The staff seemed to be stretched very thin during the evening as they were very busy, this made it so our grill was unattended occasionally throughout the night. Other than being incredibly busy, ChangGo has retained its quality and and atmosphere over the years, with low smoke grills and food great for sharing, ChangGo is a restaurant for any occasion.
